Nicole Cherlet, owner of Big Moutain Kitchen & Linen in Revelstoke describes herself as collaborative.  People who nominated her agree.  Here is an example of just one of the comments that someone sent in when she nominated Cherlet:

Nicole is all about how can we make Revelstoke a better place for people to come and shop. Nicole's drive is very forward thinking and always striving to do the absolute best for her customers. We are a very lucky community to have Nicole as a business woman in our community.—Cheryl Fry

What word would you pick (other than “influential”) to describe yourself as a businesswoman? Please explain.

Collaborative. I like to work with people and other groups, sharing ideas and finding opportunities to improve all of our services.

What was the toughest thing you had to deal with when getting into business?

Full disruption in the retail industry. There is incredible opportunity for those willing to be on the leading edge of technology, but wow is it a challenge to keep up with all of the possibilities, and make strategic decisions that fit with our unique situation.

What was the last photo you took on your phone?

My Boston terrier sniffing some spring flowers.
