An upcoming renewable-energy workshop will be held April 15, 2014, at the Groundswell Community Greenhouse in Invermere, B.C. The focus of the event is on commercial, institutional and municipal building solutions. Energy and building managers, developers, community planners and administrators, as well as builders in the commercial sector will learn about how renewable energy can save them money and add value to projects. Please note that this is not a general audience or residential sector workshop.

Presentations will be made on:

  • Biomass district heating
  • Solar energy
  • Geothermal
  • Community energy and emissions planning

The workshop is taking place in the community greenhouse and the day will include a tour of a selection of locally installed systems. Lunch is included in the very reasonable cost of $20 per person.

Wood Waste to Rural Heat is hosting the workshop and Imagine Invermere has sponsored the lunch.
