A new health hub

Golden is no longer hungry for nourishing organic foods. Owner Nicole Du Vent opened Eat Pure Mountain Market in December. Not only is the market filled with the typical stock of healthy food, bulk items, and beauty and cleaning products, but there’s also the Steep & Deep Juice Bar for people who want a highly nutritious snack on the go. Even better is to order a weekly produce bin filled with organic fruits and vegetables. Local or B.C. produce is used first before looking farther afield to fill either the small or large bin. “We are making over 40 bins per week, which allows us to service a greater part of the community than we could with just one produce fridge in the store,” said Du Vent.
