For seven years, Juggernaut Marketing Communications in Nelson has been the passion of Chris Holland, a marketing and sales professional with more than 20 years of experience.

“I moved to Nelson to find and start a new life,” said Holland. “My inspiration for moving here was the Steve Martin movie, Roxanne.”

Holland has experience marketing and promoting movies in Vancouver, and he was inspired by Roxanne’s philosophy and romanticism.

“I decided that if I am going to start a new life then I want to jump right into the favourite scene,” he said. “After moving here I was pleasantly surprised and extremely excited to find out that Nelson is better than Hollywood—it (is) real.”

Finding a balance

Holland is proud of being able to help businesses with their marketing endeavours, and to take on a myriad of new projects and adventures in the process.

“With the addition of a daughter to our family,” said Holland, “I also decided it was time to follow another dream—being an awesome father and the owner of a company that would allow flexibility to maximize what is important in life.”

Holland finds his job rewarding on a number of levels. He is ecstatic to be doing what he loves in a way that allows him to balance his priorities in life. Sometimes being a passionate person comes at a cost, but he has found that putting himself out there is well worth the risk.

“Living a life that is passion-filled is fun, but it also comes with its obstacles,” said Holland. “I realized very early on that when you are faced with obstacles, you should congratulate yourself. This means you are moving (and) growing—the challenges that are set before you help to ensure that you are serious about what you are doing.”

Versatile tools

Juggernaut Marketing provides local and international companies with economical marketing consultation and other services, such as media co-ordination, training, special events planning and innovative marketing solutions, to name a few. Members of the website www.juggernautmc.com can download workshops and obtain other valuable information for their businesses. Holland has also created a new organizational methodology for marketing called The 7 Slices of Marketing Success.

“The 7 Slices are a system that takes into account the individuality of each industry and the logical flow of a successful marketing campaign,” he said. “Just launched this year and piloted in Nelson, The 7 Slices of Marketing Success have been helping businesses at all stages maximize their return on investment.”

Given Holland’s extensive list of accomplishments and his work with fusion methodologies and other cutting-edge techniques, it’s safe to say that this marketing guru is on a continual path to excellence.

“With every challenge I face, I grow and become better,” said Holland. “My quest in life is to live, learn, grow and help.”
