Just in time for a Golden, B.C. summer, Kendyn Mackenzie opened Yaldilicious ice cream shop in May 2018. A master electrician and former Albertan, Mackenzie and his family love Golden, so when his job situation changed they looked for an opportunity that would allow them to stay. “It was my dad’s long-time dream to have an ice cream shop,” Mackenzie said, “so we decided to go ahead with that.” Thrive Market design-your-own soups are also on the menu, and Mackenzie is considering other options for the winter season. Find Yaldilicious at 828 - 10th Avenue South in Golden.
