What’s on tap?

by

Kevin and Karen Christakos are the proud new owners of the Golden Taps in Golden, B.C.

Kevin recently worked as a heli-skiing guide on a full-time basis, but he has cut back his guiding hours in order to spend more time with his family and his new business endeavour.

Karen already has a taste for the hospitality industry, having started a mobile bartending service called Sips 'n' Giggles.

The husband and wife team have been friends with the previous owners of the Golden Taps, Adam McCullough and Kent Zalaski, for some time, and worked together with them to make the transition a smooth one. There are no plans for dramatic changes in the near future, since the downtown pub is already a popular hot spot for the Golden community.
