The latest buzz

Once known as Clive's Coffee Bar, a little shop located in Trail's Fortis building, JJ L'Rock has taken on a brand new name and vibe. The space was empty for about a year before the new owner and head cook, Linda Benedict, stepped in and revived it. Benedict has ample experience in the restaurant industry, and she has family members who are restauranteurs and willing offer their ideas and suggestions.

Now the shop offers home cooking, coffee beverages, fresh baked goods, light breakfast options, lunches and a full family breakfast on Saturday mornings. The family breakfast and evening family dinners highlight one menu item only, as the kitchen operates in a smaller space. You can call JJ L'Rock at 250-364-5660.
