Sail away on Lake Windermere

by

Founded by Thorsten Gaul this year, Columbia Valley Sailing is offering international-standard education on the art of sailing. Gaul promotes safety and education and currently offers keel boat sailing instruction for adults. The training takes place on Lake Windermere, an ideal location to learn the tricks of the trade.

Gaul has substantial experience, having been sailing for several years, and he is trained to meet the level of the Canadian Yachting Association's and International Sailing Federation's standards. He values the romantic artistry and environmental friendliness of sailing, and hopes to expand his company to offer classes for kids and other types of sailing in future. For more information, visit the Columbia Valley Sailing website.
