Marion Peterson opened Refinery 180 Consignment at 275 Market Avenue in Grand Forks in mid-January 2017. She stocks ladieswear including handbags, shoes and jewelry, along with menswear and some children’s wear. Peterson said Grand Forks and area residents have enthusiastically welcomed the store and are bringing in a good variety of garments and accessories to sell. Peterson describes herself as “a bit fussy” about what she selects for sale, so her merchandise is seasonal and stylish. “Lots of the garments were purchased in larger cities and even other countries, so they’re unique and often of exceptional quality,” she said.
