In April 2019, Kristin Parsons was invited to be a candidate for the board of the B.C. Chamber Executive. Parsons, the executive director of the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce, accepted the invitation and in May she was elected. Her commitment includes attending quarterly board meetings and working on a number of  committees.

“The BCCE supports the development of leaders of the chamber network,” Parsons said. “My involvement will help to increase my skills, abilities and experience. Along with the contacts and relationships I am making, this will help me to serve my members locally.”
