In 2013, Chris Swenson, a Red Seal plumber with a Class B gas ticket, left the heavy traffic of the Lower Mainland for a new lifestyle in Kimberley, B.C. He likes the amenities in Kimberley, including the nearby airport, proximity to the U.S. and Alberta, and wonderful outdoor recreation. Swenson has his own small business now, and he looks forward to growing Swensons Plumbing Services into a full-service shop. He believes there are good opportunities in Kimberley for light industrial companies to grow and provide good paying jobs.
