Katey Kirconnell, Michael Erwin and Marc and Sue Raymond have opened StoneFire Pizzeria in Kimberley, B.C.’s Platzl. They serve appetizers, salads, pastas, pizzas and desserts, and their specialty: authentic Neapolitan pizza baked in a 7,000-pound Stefano Ferrara wood-burning oven—the soul of the restaurant. The locally sourced ingredients are transformed by pizzaiola Alanthea Clarkson and pastry chef Ryan Doggart. Enjoy craft or imported beer or Italian wine with your dinner, and expect StoneFire to open for lunch soon.
