A Trail-based electrical contractor has recently gained the qualifications as a senior inspector with Intertek, an inspection and certification company that serves a multitude of industries. Dan Tweed will be serving the East and West Kootenay regions, as well as the Okanagan. He can provide special inspections for commercial, industrial and consumer products that do not meet Canadian standards.

Intertek is well-known for providing inspections on equipment and granting ETL and WH certification. Intertek's special inspection services provide ETL certification on imported or custom-made goods intended for sale or use in Canada.
