Grass Roots Bistro is a new, health-conscious restaurant that opened up in Fernie last July.

The vegetarian bistro offers food that is delicious, nutritious and locally sourced whenever possible. The business is run by Carolyn Doyle, Rachel Adams and Jill Parnell, and shares a space with Big Bang Bagels. The bagel shop operates during the day, and the bistro takes over in the evenings, opening at 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Be sure to check out Grass Roots Bistro’s website.
