In the mood for an aerial adventure? If you’re in the Nelson area, check out Kootenay Paragliding Adventures, owned by certified tandem pilots Jason "J" Leus and Joaquin "Joaq" Klein. Their new flight experience is called "The Beach Fling"—you launch from the beach on Kootenay Lake, get towed up to an altitude of 610 metres (that’s higher than the CN Tower), then get released from the towline. Want a mega-jolt of adrenalin? Or maybe a serene, bird’s-eye view of the lake is more your style?  No problem—the ride back down to earth can be as mild or wild as you choose. Time to tick off an entry on your bucket list!
