Jamie Mackie, FirstOnSite district manager, said the company always watches for opportunities to grow. As gateway to the Kootenays, Cranbrook is a choice location for a branch of Canada’s largest independent restoration company.

FirstOnSite acquired 7,000 square feet of space at 560 Industrial Road D Crescent as of June 1 this year, and under branch manager Kevin Smith, hired their first staff and opened their doors for business at the end of June. Disaster cleanup is the first phase of each job, but the lion’s share of the work consists of rebuilding and restoring what has been damaged or destroyed.
