Ajay and Pam Uppal

Ajay and Pam Uppal own and operate Cuisine of India restaurants at three locations: Castlegar, Vernon and now Cranbrook, B.C. — Marie Milner photo

Restaurant owners Pam and Ajay Uppal opened the original Cuisine of India in Castlegar about 10 years ago, followed by a second location, in Vernon, in 2013. Cuisine of India opened in Cranbrook on July 11 at 202 Van Horne Street South—a fresh and airy renovated venue that’s been home to a number of other restaurants. Ajay’s expertise in delivering robust and deliciously complex Indian flavours is already attracting a dedicated clientele in Cranbrook—and deservedly so.
