Time away from home to complete her schooling made Edgewater-born Karen Fahrni appreciate the East Kootenay even more. Fahrni has recently returned from Portland, Oregon, after completing a doctor of chiropractic degree and has set up her own practice, Columbia Chiropractic, in Invermere.

Fahrni's services can be utilized by a variety of people, from high-level athletes suffering sports injuries to people with chronic pain. She specializes in soft tissue methods, such as ART® and Graston®.

"It feels great to be back at home serving my community," said Fahrni.
