Bringing German food to Castlegar

by

Hartmut and Marina Kaden have opened the Chameleon, a new German restaurant in Castlegar.

The couple has moved to B.C. recently from Nova Scotia, and their restaurant is situated in a wing of the Marlane Hotel. They are in the process of renovating the entire building, but for now the Chameleon is the main attraction.

In addition to classic German fare, the restaurant is also offering French, Azerbaijan, Russian and Italian food. There are also North American favourites as well, so diners can enjoy a variety of dishes from all over the world.

You can call 250-365-4981 to find out more, or stop by for a meal at the Chameleon, located at 330 Columbia Avenue in Castlegar.
