Big shoes to fill

After serving for several years as the director of the Fernie Museum, Mike Pennock made the decision to retire. A rigorous search and interview process resulted in the hiring of Ron Ulrich, who is eager to take on the position.

Ulrich had his first job at a museum when he was only 14 years of age, and he helped to start up the Crowsnest Museum, of which he eventually became president. His vast experience will prove to be a considerable asset, as he looks forward to engaging with the Fernie community and bringing new features to the facility in future.
