An award well deserved

by

Steve Austin, a longstanding Creston businessman and Rotary Club member, was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow certificate and pin for his contributions to the club and his community.

The award was presented by past club president Marilin Grahn and community services director Brenda Silkie.

Austin owned Gigabytes, a graphic design company that earned a positive reputation in town. He recently sold his business and retired, but over the years he showed tremendous generosity, even donating his time and effort to do work for the local Rotary club free of charge.

Along with the award presentation, the Creston club made a $1,000 donation in Austin's name to the Rotary Foundation.
