Chantel Hack applauds the City of Kimberley for supporting updated esthetics in the downtown core. Mayor Ron McRae and council supported installation of flower planters on Howard Street and approved a mural for the front of Hack’s restaurant, the Burrito Grill.

Artist Clayton Stitt’s mural is a representation of Mexico, with desert, cactus and night sky.

Hack said the art covers a small area, but there’s a lot of attention in the details, “and it’s cool.”
