Cranbrook, B.C., has a new breakfast-and-lunch restaurant.

The Baker’s Beanery, owned by Fred Searle and managed by Linda Black, opened its doors on June 7, 2013. It is located in the space that most of us remember as Max’s Place on Victoria, in the Save-On-Foods parking lot. The restaurant has a staff of 10 and seats 30; in fine weather there is patio seating for an additional eight to 12. For more information, call Black at 778-517-0707 or visit the Baker's Beanery Facebook page. The location address is 301 - 535 Victoria Avenue North.
