A legacy of teaching

Yasodhara Ashram is one of the most well-established yoga and study retreat centres in Canada. The year 2013 is its 50th year in operation, and in that time the members of Yasodhara Ashram have embraced visitors of all ages and spiritual orientations, teaching them about yoga, leadership skills, and other insights to aid in personal development.

The centre is a registered Canadian charity and educational institution, and it is completely volunteer-run. It has provided bursaries to help students who wish to come and study there, it has been carbon-neutral since 2012, and even includes an organic farm and orchard. The facility has been acknowledged by reputable sources including Reader's Digest and Tourism British Columbia, and more and more people are seeking the peaceful and educational experience that Yasodhara Ashram has to offer.
