90 years and going strong

In a time when the economy can present a challenge, it's nice to hear stories of enduring business success. Hipperson's Home Hardware in Nelson is certainly in that category. In September 2013 the family-owned company celebrated its 90th anniversary. The store has two locations, one downtown and one at the lakeside.

Hipperson's Home Hardware employs approximately 60 people between the lumber yard and retail sections, and many of the employees and managers have been there for ten years or longer.
