Manager, Communications (20-month Opportunity)

The Trust is seeking a Manager, Communications to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to think strategically and influence others in an effort to achieve goals. Reporting to the Director, Communications, this position is responsible for managing communication plans and projects; supporting engagement and outreach efforts; developing and recommending strategies and plans to manage the Trust brand; fostering relationships with departments, stakeholders, partners and contractors; and monitoring and maintaining media relations. This is a full-time, 20-month temporary position based out of the Castlegar or Cranbrook office and expected to commence July 2019 and end March 2021. Apply at ourtrust.org/careers.

Research Coordinator

The Trust is seeking a Research Coordinator to join our Special Initiatives team. This is a great opportunity for a self motivated and results oriented individual with strong research, writing, administrative and organizational skills and working knowledge of economic and social issues within the Basin. Reporting to the Director, Special Initiatives, this position coordinates the necessary research, analysis and planning that supports the Trust's Columbia Basin Management Plan and broader corporate objectives. Manager, Human Resources

The Trust is seeking a Manager, Human Resources to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a self motivated and results oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Director, Finance and Operations, this position is responsible for human resources planning; the recruitment, selection and orientation processes for new employees; employee retention strategies; performance evaluation and employee training and development; employee relations; compensation and benefits administration; job evaluation and HR policy development. As well, the Manager collaborates with senior management on the development and implementation of human resources strategies.
