Since Sprout Grocery in Kimberley moved to a new location in September 2012, the business hasn't looked back. Owner Nicole Leclair-Dodd said that it has been a lot of work, but well worth it.
“It has been a learning curve and been a lot of fun, and well received for sure,” said Leclair-Dodd. “We had outgrown our previous location and there were a lot of things that people were asking for, so we decided to kick it up a notch and move to a new location.”

All about Sprout

Sprout's mantra is all about organic, local, environmentally friendly and personalized service. The owners strive to stock the best groceries available, as locally as possible, and they work closely with other business owners—including local artisans—to provide varied and healthy products. Customers can also take advantage of nutritional and naturopathic advice and products.

Future plans?

It has been over a year since the move, and Sprout's location is becoming well known as a one-stop wellness centre. The building houses both Fine+Well—home to chiropractor Dr. Cassandra Boon and registered massage therapists Jennifer Johnston and John Haner—and One Love Hot Yoga, owned and operated by Moksha-certified yoga teacher Kristi McRae.
Is there anything else planned? Well, we will just have to wait and see.
