What are your biggest hopes and dreams for Cranbrook? Perhaps to see Cranbrook named the most beautiful city to live in. Or maybe to see the College of the Rockies offer various different bachelor's and master's level programs that attract students from all over the world. Cranbrook Connected is here to make sure that your hopes and dreams for Cranbrook come true.

This initiative is the process name for developing an Integrated Sustainability Plan and committee members include, Chris Ayling, Accessible Housing Advisory Committee, Dave Butler, Advisory Planning Commission, Dave Hall, Environment and Utilities Committee, Linda Holmes, Wellness and Heritage Committee, Gord Johnston, Family and Community Services Committee, Mike Pearson, Cranbrook in Motion Committee and Laurie Cordell, a sustainability facilitator with the Fraser Basin Council.

The aim of Cranbrook Connected is to develop a proactive approach when faced with challenges in the community. In the committee's terms of reference it states, "Its purpose is to consider the city's role in matters of community sustainability with respect to environmental, economic, social and cultural factors and to provide guidance in planning for community sustainability, including consideration of input from other committees of council and the community."
