The latest in organic cosmetics

by

Consumers are becoming more aware of cosmetic ingredients, and striving for healthier, safer products for themselves and their families. A conscientious mother of two named Virginia White, was looking for a natural product that would help her son, who suffered from eczema. Her quest evolved into the launch of her new business, Anchor Organics.

From her location in Invermere, White manufactures a line of cosmetics with fun, nautical-themed names (such as "Soothing Sea" and "Message in a Bubble" soaps). She uses skin-friendly ingredients that are gluten-free and organic, and she aims to keep the merchandise affordable to her customers. The products can be found at the Invermere farmers markets and are being brought into shops throughout the Columbia Valley.

For more information, visit the Anchor Organics Facebook Page or call 250-270-0906.
