In January of 2016, Katie Jackson opened Next Level Fitness in Sparwood. She has enjoyed a warm welcome and considerable success, as health-conscious locals discover the cutting-edge gym.

Sparwood has been a lifelong haven for this entrepreneur. She has built a life there that fulfills her and nourishes her spirit.

"I was born and raised in Sparwood," said Jackson. "I married my high school sweetheart and never left. I have lots of family here and feel like it's just such a wonderful place to live. We have good jobs, quiet neighbourhoods and loads of adventure just outside our back door."
