Mike McPhee, director of sales and marketing for the Island Lake Resort Group, has been chosen to be part of a specialized committee.

The new B.C. tourism marketing committee was set up by Destination British Columbia in order to market the province's tourism features to the rest of the world. Experts picked for this select group will be playing an active role in suggesting new marketing strategies, funding efforts and other recommendations to the Crown corporation's board of directors and CEO.

McPhee was honoured to accept this role, and given his integral place with the Island Lake Resort Group, he is certainly the man for the job.
