Project ahead

Pine Ridge Mountain Resort has applied to rezone a former landfill site in Invermere to make way for recreational facilities.

Owned by Statesman Developments (BC) Ltd., Pine Ridge Mountain Resort is a 152-acre development with single-family, multi-family and condominium ownership and rental opportunities. The rezoning plans include the addition of amenities such as a high ropes course, zipline, indoor and outdoor pool, spa, indoor climbing wall, laser tag room, and space for tennis, basketball and beach volleyball. Outdoor enthusiasts will be able to take advantage of trail riding and hiking on the property, and there will also be a nine-hole putting course and three-hole challenge course for golfers to enjoy.

"We are most excited about the opportunity to bring families together for amazing, memorable outdoor adventures and experiences," said the resort's Gordon Mross, "to escape from the techno world that consumes us throughout our work and home lives."
