On June 1, Megan Lescanec reopened Bumble Tree Baby and Children Essentials at 33 - 10th Avenue South in Cranbrook. The boutique, which also carries lovely maternity wear and gifts, was a fixture at Baker Street and 12th Avenue since 2011, and during that time Lescanec patiently looked for a building she could purchase. When Lotus Books moved out of the 10th Avenue location, she grasped the investment opportunity.

“We love 10th Avenue—there are a lot of other great retailers here, so there’s lots of foot traffic,” Lescanec said. “The store feels big and bright, and has good sight lines.”
