A local favourite, Kinbari Sushi has reopened under new ownership in the community of Kimberley.

Sooseok Kang—who goes by Soo—has purchased the restaurant, and he is excited to offer fresh, tasty Japanese fare, with menu items for all preferences. There are even gluten-free options available. Chefs Peter Yoon and Yun Choi are bringing their talents to the eatery, and Kang has prior restaurant ownership experience and culinary education, which he obtained in South Korea and Vancouver. His studies included Japanese cuisine, and he is passionate about combining authentic flavours to make delicious dishes.

Kinbari Sushi is located on the Platzl and can be reached at 778-481-5001.
