At 724A - 304th Street in Marysville, B.C.—in the Unique Windows & Solariums building—a new business opened its doors on September 28, 2013. The Rustic Hutch is a furniture consignment and home decor centre owned by Brenda Bannister, former co-owner of the Sub Shack in Kimberley. The Rustic Hutch has an eclectic mix of antiques and contemporary pieces on its 800 square-foot floor and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Bannister welcomes furniture and decor items that are gently used and looking for a new home.
