The Fernie Museum & Visitor Information Centre has implemented all kinds of new improvements to impress visitors.

There has been a bustle of activity at the museum this year, resulting in a renovation that includes new themed exhibits, interactive displays and a timeline of Fernie's evolution throughout history. Find out what life was like for locals in days gone by and take a tour led by one of the knowledgeable staff members.

The building itself has had quite the facelift, with refurbished original oak flooring, etched-glass signs and other elements that were sourced locally and constructed with green building techniques whenever possible.

For more information, visit the Fernie Museum's website.
