Leaders in the community

We’d like to congratulate all the nominees in our second annual Influential Women in Business Awards.

We asked you for your nominations for the Kootenay Business 2013 Influential Women in Business Awards, and we certainly got them!

The names of 36 women from across our region—including the East Kootenay, West Kootenay/Boundary and Golden/Revelstoke—were put forward for our awards, and in all of the nominations admiration was expressed for the level of generosity and dedication to their communities shown by the women being nominated.

This is the second year that Kootenay Business magazine has run this feature, so it’s now officially an annual event. The list of winners from 2012 is on our website, and this year’s winners will be announced at the trade show and luncheon to be held on May 24 in Cranbrook at the Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort and at the West Kootenay Women in Business luncheon on May 29 in Nelson at the Hume Hotel. After those dates, the six winners’ names will be posted on our website. For more information about the trade show and luncheons or to RSVP call Sara at 250.426.7253 or email [email protected].
