With the entrepreneurial spirit in Kimberley and area running at an all-time high and small business week just around the corner, this Thursday’s Kimberley Business Expo is ideally scheduled.

The 2nd annual Kimberley Business Expo takes place this Thursday, October 15 at the Kimberley Conference Centre from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.

“Business ninjas from dozens of support organizations in disciplines such as finance, accounting, business strategy and succession, and workforce development will be present to answer questions,” said Kevin Wilson, Economic Development Office for the City of Kimberley and one of organizers of the event.  “There will be a presentation from Kootenay Savings’ economist and a small business technology advisor. Come for a bit or stay for a while.”

According to organizers, the event will fuel the entrepreneurial spirit of those in attendance with resources they need to buy, sell, grow, and compete in Kimberley and surrounding area.

Last year was the initial Business Expo in Kimberley and this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better.  The expo is designed to help small business owners and managers enhance their contacts and networking as well as boosting their profitability and competitiveness.
