We asked JV LeBrun, owner of DID Custom in Fernie, a few questions about his choice of community—and he shared some of his thoughts with us.

What do you do in your downtime?

I go outside to play. I also love to cook food.

If someone were visiting you from out of town, where would you take them?

We’d go skiing, hiking, ski touring, head to Island Lake Lodge, float or fish down the river if it’s not frozen.

What do you like about doing business in your community?

Dealing with great people.

Why did you choose to start your business here?

It seemed like the obvious place. The community is also very supportive.
