What do you do in your downtime?

Watch the Canucks!

If someone were visiting you from out of town, where would you take them to give them a taste of the place?

(I would) take them to the Brilliant Bridge and the Doukhobor Discovery Centre, feed them borscht and then walk the trails of the area—including Millennium Park to Zuckerberg Island, Waldie Island and many of the other local trails. Finally, we would go golfing on the beautiful Castlegar golf course—one of the best in the Kootenays—and cap off the day on Arrow Lake.

What do you like about doing business in your community?

In the recreation field, it is all about the happy and friendly faces of those that walk into our facility to participate in the healthy activities we provide.

Why did you choose to live here?

I moved here because of the beauty of the area and all of the many things one can do here.
