Despite a small turn-out at the Fort McMurray Trade Initiative trade show there were some very happy winners of a number of valuable door prizes...from St. Eugene Golf Resort, Resorts of the Canadian Rockies,  Shadow Mountain Golf, Integra Air and others.

"We were disappointed with the quantity of the turn-out but pleased with the quality of the contacts we made in Fort McMurray," said Keith Powell, publisher of Kootenay Business magazine. "We made some important contacts and connections with economic development officials and some key real estate people. Plus we gained valuable insight into the growing and dynamic Fort McMurray market."

It was clear to those who participated in the trade initiative that the Kootenays should continue to develop and foster connections in Fort McMurray.

Kootenay Business would like to thank all participants, attendees and sponsors of the trade initiative.
