Kootenay Business magazine was recently given an exclusive behind the scene look at the massive new Waneta Dam Expansion Project. The $900 million project is complete and it will soon be handed over to Fortis, who is a 51% owner, to run and operate.

In this first video, Wally Penner, regional project manager for SNC-Lavaline Inc., who was the main contractor on the project explains the background and what purpose the expansion was.
