Gentlemen start your engines!  The Upper Cut for Men is sure to jump start your next hair cutting experience.

One of Cranbrook's newest business ventures is the automotive-themed hairdressers for men shop called The Upper Cut for Men.  Owned and operated by Bonnie McCormack, this new hairdressing destination stands out with its unique decor and spacious layout.

At over 1,800 square feet, The Upper Cut for Men immerses clients in everything motorized. The centrepiece is a cool, candy-apple red Chevy Camaro and the tail of a vintage Ford truck pokes out the back wall.  The stylists' workstations feature genuine toolboxes, a glass coffee table sits atop a big engine block in the waiting lounge and the decor is complimented with a variety of cool auto posters and Kootenay Ice Jerseys.

"We saw a definitely need in town for something welcoming and unique for the male hairdressing clientele," said Bonnie McCormack, who works along with her daughter Kayley and staff of five.  "We go way beyond just offering hair cuts -- The Upper Cut for Men offers a line of specialty services like waxing, colouring, and hair styling products for men."

What has been the initial reaction to the The Upper for Men?  "Men are just blown away by our decor and what we have to offer.  What man doesn't like to talk about hot cars and their automotive favourites." she adds.

Bonnie McCormack also owns and operates a hair salon on Kootenay Street called the Upper Cut by Bonnie.
