Two boutiques to combine force at new location on Cranbrook’s 9th Ave

Fernie’s #1 fashion hotspot is expanding to Cranbrook. Freyja Lifestyle Fashion is taking its much adored, fresh fashion boutique experience and setting up shop in Cranbrook alongside Cranbrook’s 2014 Retailer of the Year — Muriel and Jane’s General Store.

Muriel and Jane’s General Store and Freyja Lifestyle will be co-operating at a new location — 16 9th Avenue South downtown Cranbrook.

These two unique boutiques will both be in the same building, offering you two different distinct shopping experiences.

In the new location of Muriel and Jane’s, shoppers can see a refined edition of the already popular general store. With a sharper focus on jewelry, light home decor and art. Like any growing business, this is a natural step in the right direction to serve its fans better.

Inside the building Freyja Lifestyle will have its own shop within Muriel’s. Cranbrook will now have a contemporary women’s fashion boutique. Freyja, now operating in its 8th year in Fernie, has gained a enthusiast following for its fresh take on fashion for the East Kootenay.

“It's truly a match made by the design gods”, says Muriel and Jane’s owner Laurie Goodlad, “In one place women will find excellent home decor and find boutique fashion all under one roof — and pampered with great customer service”.

“I’m very excited to take my concept to Cranbrook. I’ve actually been asked to open a location there for years, it wasn't until Laurie approached me with this dual location idea that I knew the time was right," says Chantel Souliere, owner of Freyja Lifestyle. “Fernie has not only embraced Freyja for many years, but it’s been wildly successful. I know Cranbrook is just going to love it, too! I was born and raised in Cranbrook and I am happy to come back and invest in this growing community”.

Grand opening celebrations are planned for July 3rd. More details to come.
