The World Snow Awards names Fernie best ski resort in North America

Fernie Alpine Resort wins coveted best ski resort in North America award.

Fernie Alpine Resort on the powder highway in the Canadian Rockies, recently won the highly coveted award of being named the best ski resort in North America at the World Snow Awards. Beating out Banff, Whistler, Aspen, Vail and many others, Fernie Alpine Resort won the award, after being selected by a highly talented and distinguished panel of ski and travel journalists, major international tour operators and Olympic athletes.

The team at Fernie Alpine Resort would like to extend a huge thank-you to all the judges involved. “We are truly honoured,” said Matt Mosteller, vice-president of sales and marketing at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, “this is the biggest award in the ski/travel industry! Plus a big shout out to all of our guests, team, tour operators, Tourism BC and the Canadian Tourism Commission as well as all of the ski/travel writers. Thank you!”
