Just off celebrating their grand opening, Cranbrook's newest restaurant, The Baker's Beanery offers a great all-day menu and cozy, comfortable atmosphere where patrons can relax and enjoy everything from a latte to full course meal.

The new restaurant/coffee house is managed by Linda Black and has a staff of up to 15 people. Some of their popular specialities include Frog Friendly Wild Coffee (this coffee comes from Mexico and has an intriguing story behind it...ask your server about it), their delicious chicken avocado club and vegetarian baba ghanouj.

"We have had a great reaction to our new restaurant. People are loving our coffee drinks, all-day breakfast and New York style hot dogs," said Linda Black, manager. "Our menu is changing a bit in the coming weeks as we move part of it to a fusion-type selection which will include noodle bowls and lettuce wraps and other delicious menu items."

The Baker's Beanery is located across the parking lot from Save-on-Foods, at the corner of 6th Street and Victoria Ave. They are open Monday to Saturday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
