Do you have a business idea that you'd like to put into action? If so, developing a business plan is absolutely essential, especially when you're looking for financing. Learning how to develop an effective plan can be challenging, both in terms of time and cost. That's exactly why Community Futures East Kootenay (CFEK) has introduced "Business Plan Boot Camp."

In a series of three sessions you'll learn how to:

  •     Perform market research and prove the viability of your business concept
  •     Develop a marketing and promotion strategy
  •     Outline a human resource, operations and management plan
  •     Gain an understanding of business law, potential risks and how to deal with them
  •     Develop financial statements including: an income statement, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
  •     Compile the information into a compelling business plan.

Experienced business consultants will give you practical, "real world" tools and insights that you can apply to your business plan. Plus, you'll receive a one-on-one business consultation about your completed business plan with a CFEK business consultant.
