Roxul reorganizes Canadian operations
Insulation manufacturer Roxul Inc., is reorganizing its North American Industrial, Marine and Offshore business.
The Milton, Ont.-based company will merge its Industrial & Marine division into a global platform with ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation (RTI). The North American Industrial, Marine & Offshore division will be known as ROXUL Technical Insulation.
“With our existing expertise and combined resources, Roxul Technical Insulation can provide improved support to its North American customers by leveraging our global influence, ultimately bringing greater value to our local response,” said Mike Kozokowsky, Vice President Industrial, Sales.
The North American team will continue to be headquartered in Milton.
Roxul Inc., in Milton and Grand Forks, B.C., is a subsidiary of Rockwool International, the world’s largest producer of stone wool insulation. Roxul has recently opened a Mississippi-based manufacturing facility.
The company didn't state if any changes are anticipated at their Grand Forks manufacturing facility. Though the company publicly stated in the past that “production at the Canadian facilities will remain unchanged.”
