Revelstoke construction company snaps up 2nd Award of Excellence

Vic Van Isle Construction Group (VVI), of Revelstoke, recently won the Award of Excellence for Design and Construction at the Southern Interior Construction Association’s (SICA) Commercial Building Awards event. It is the second year running that VVI Construction has won this prestigious award. Last year VVI won for the completion of Mica Heli Ski Lodge.

A statement from the VVI stated that the Revelstoke Business and Visitor Information Center was—a unique collaborative effort—by the company, Revelstoke Land and Development, City of Revelstoke, Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce, and Columbia Basin Trust including the quality work of many area sub-trades and suppliers.

The new Revelstoke Business and Visitor Information Centre is located in downtown Revelstoke and was completed in early 2014. It houses the Revelstoke Visitors Information Centre plus development agencies from the City and the Regional District, the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce and Community Futures.
