Spring is almost here! Time to hit the greens.
With winter almost behind us, many golf courses and golfers are itching to get playing around on their favourite courses.
Here's a list of Kootenay Golf Course opening dates we have been able to track down. So get out the golf bag, dust off the club and get ready to hit the fairways.
Balfour—Balfour Golf Course: driving range open, golf course opens April 1st
Castlegar—Castlegar Golf Club: opens April 2nd
Christina Lake—Christina Lake Golf Course: now open
Cranbrook—The Cranbrook Golf Club: opens April 1st
Cranbrook—Shadow Mountain Golf Course: opens April 16th
Cranbrook—St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino: opens April 16th
Cranbrook—Wildstone Golf Course: opens April 15th
Crawford Bay—Kokanee Springs Golf Course: opens April 15th
Creston—Creston Golf Course: now open (opened March 8th)
Fairmont Hot Springs—Riverside Golf Course: opens March 25th
Mountainside Golf Course: opens April 15th
Creekside Par 3: opens April 3rd
Fernie—Fernice Golf and Country Club: opens early May
Golden—Golden Golf Club: opens early May
Greywolf Golf Course: opens early May
Invermere—Copper Point: opens April 1st
Invermere—Copper Point, The Ridge course: opens March 25th
Invermere—Eagle Ranch Resort: open March 25 and then closes, opens April 1st
Kimberley—Bootleg Gap Golf: opens April 22nd
Kimberley—Kimberley Golf Club: TBA
Kimberley—Trickle Creek Golf: early May
Radium Hot Springs—Radium Course: opens April 1st and the Springs course on March 25th
Revelstoke—Revelstoke Golf Course: TBA
Rossland—Redstone Golf Resort: opens April 15th
Trail—Birchbank: the driving range is open now—course opens March 17th
Windermere—Windermere Valley Golf Course: now open (opened March 10th)
